Day off in London

Two days ago we had a day off together, so we catch the underground to explore London a bit more.

We had a great time in Notting Hill, we went to Portobello Market, colourful and always full of life.
It makes you feel like you are travelling the world: First you are in a chinese takeaway restaurant, then moroccan rugs and Italy in the next corner. You can try every tasty and heavenly dish in the same day.

We went to The Portobello Gold for lunch. They have an amazing terrace inside, full of plants and you can sit upstairs if you follow some stair treads so you can sit alone in a private table.

Delicious Angus burguers and charcuterie platters, we keep going back every time we are in the area.

(2019 Update- Sadly Portobello Gold has closed its doors.)

After some coffee and some shopping we took the Northern Line to Camden. If you are tired of Camden you are tired of life. So many different styles, the crazy shop fronts with all that shoes, huge statues all around the place and the green, pink, red, blue haired girls. It's definitely a spot for taking photos.

Trench- H&M   Hat- Topshop   Backpack- New Look

Alice in Wonderland's white Rabbit and Mad Hatter, we found them in the street having the sweetest tea time.

"Up above the world you fly, like a tea tray in the sky. Twinkle twinkle..."

"-Have I gone mad?
-I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are."

Things I still have to do in London.

When I first moved here my plan was to stay for a month and discover the city.
But life takes its own course and just after eight days I decided to stay.

I found friends, love and a job.
I can say I've never been so happy in my entire life.
It wasn't always easy but I sure had fun in the way.

These are the places where I haven't been yet and I've always wanted to discover.
